What does this warning light on the dash mean??

brake fluid level too low.

it is also a good indicator that your brake pads may be getting low.

Its not on my e30 ... its my e36 318is thats been sitting around for a while ... didn't realise so much can happen when its doin nothing 
Thought it may have been breaks so inspected each one but all had good paddage.
Will get onto that one straight away.
Anyone want a goreous e36 318is 1992 K plate?? Ԛ£2500 o.n.o ...
