Couple of questions, ARB bushes and suspension

Hi all, I've got some front ARB bushes for my 87 325i but they are for the sport. I've got a feeling that the sport had thicker ARB's so does this mean they won't fit. If it helps I think there 14mm.
I'm about to replace my suspension, dampers, springs and top mounts. Is this a relatively easy job (for DIY mechanic) and will I need any special tools?

Hi mate
I just replaced my suspension on my sport
koni ajustables and eibach springs and new top mounts front and rear stabaliser link arms and anti roll bar bush's
and i done it all in a day tea breaks and odd bacon roll lol just with me and a mate the only thing your really need other than your normal spanners etc is spring clamps for the front springs other than that crack
on its all easy enough
and your feel the nuts after its all done because you saved all that money
HTH
Good luck

Its not a difficult job if you work methodically.

use a ball joint splitter too for front struts! apart from that general tools really.
8,10,13,17,19mm is about all e30's are built with!

im pretty sure that all 325's had 14mm bars sport or not. i could be wrong. the easyest way to check is to take a 14mm open end wrench and see if it fits over the two bars with no play. be sure you do this on a stright section and not a bend.

Muchos thanks... All useful information as usual
Suspension deal might have to wait for a while because of the other party not having time to break his car. I'll wait and do the suspension and bushes all at once in a weekend. It'll be like christmas with a frustrating twist
