Hi all,

i am aware that you can fit e36 and e46 rear damper topmounts to e30's.
do i need to get specific touring e46 topmounts or will standard saloon ones do?

thanks

I can confirm that the E46 cab ones fit and work well. I've got them on my touring. Only about Ԛ£12 each from the dealers and they are a lot more robust than the E30 ones.

Same here. I have the e46 cabs and they've been working just fine.

their overall design is what makes them seem to last longer, I've had mine in for appx 1-2 years without any signs of weakening.

If you want something more solid that the E46 ones you can use these:

Rear Shock Mounts - if the link does not work its at the bottom of the "Specials" page - life time warranty against failure. They do top plates too to stiffen top mount.

I dont know if you can get the in UK but I got a set from http://www.bimmerworld.com/ - good service :)
