OK so NOBODY has BBS RS Split rims on an E30 with M3 5 stud setup??

Looks like we may be the first !

I'm gonna measure the distances between the stock E30 hubs and the M3 ones when I fit them. Then we should be able to work out what offsets would fit.

There's a cracking set of 16" ACTs on ebay just now, 5 stud, 8.5 x 16" ET11. I'm pretty sure these would fit the standard e30 arches but it's a lot of money to lay out if they dont !!

surely someone out there can help?

I got it from a forum long time ago and I saved it to use it when I go bigger. I hope it helps:

Sorry for the hi-jack but i didn't want to start a similar thread.
I just inherited a 1991 325i cabrio. i really want the look of the new m3 rims.
i found some rims that are pretty darn close. they are the alessio plus. the problem i am gettin is that most places tell me the offset is not correct. the rims are 17 x 7.5. 4 lug x 100mm. so what do i need to do to make these work? just a spacer? i saw this in a similar thread posted by
an318is
"Offset depends on what width rim you want the following is a good guide

6" rim width: 35mm offset
6Âa" rim width: 30mm offset
7" rim width: 25mm offset
8" rim width: 15mm

the stud pattern as mention above is 4x100 and the centerbore is 57.1mm Thats pretty important as the weight of you car will be supported on the rim of the centre hole, not the wheel nuts"

so if i understand this correctly i just need to buy or fabricate a spacer that is 20mm thick? tia!
