bloody ball joints

its mot time and the outer ball joints are knackered on my 318i, is there anyone living near hengoed in the south wales valley who knows anyone with a ball joint press, i dont really want to buy new wishbones cos they throw the tracking out

I made one out of an old brake system. It can press 1000Kgr its ideal for jobs like urs. It needs a shit load of work to build better have them pressed on a workshop

just done mine tonight. give it a good squirt with wd40, let it soak in for a while and rattle the wishbone where the ball joint goes in with a heavy hammer and they come free eventually. not easy though. certainly won't be
tonight!
