E30 Zone

Hi getting close to putting the wiring loom back in and I’ve noticed that the Grey and White and the Grey and Yellow coming from the Headlight Switch have been bridged by a previous owner. I just wondered why and should I be looking at removing the Blue bridge wire and see what happens. I’ve not looked at wiki yet will try later. Thanks

Those are instrument lights, bridged out to bypass the dimmer, probably because it’s failed.
With the bridge in place the instrument lights will be on at full brightness.
