Hi, I'm looking to buy a South African import 325i 1992, 4 door automatic. There's lots of info on the 325is and 333i but I can't see anything on a standard 325i. I'd be grateful if anyone could shed some light on this model. Many thanks in advance.

Hi again, too many faults, in my view, for the money so I've walked away. Thanks for looking.

the only main difference is if it was an evo 1 or 2 model.

There were some other changes in the early days but only on 2-door cars AFAIK. I think a 4-door auto would be similar to UK spec.
There was also the 333i

SA cars are fitted with a sump guard. Good idea. The one I was looking at was listed as a 3ltr by DVLA which could cause problems. Apparently most had a obc rather than the clock.
