E30 Zone

I've got a 1986 E30 318i (UK RHD) with the M10 engine. Can't find a throttle cable anywhere!

The OEM part number is 35411154822 but BMW don't make it anymore and I can't find one!

Is there a different cable I can use instead? Anyone know of one? Help!

Hi Paul,

I've spoken to that company and unfortunately they said that part doesn't fit and they don't have the one for my model .

I haven't spoken with Cotswold, I will try there next!

I'm not sure if they have for your specific model or not but might be worth looking at OEM_Genuine_Parts on ebay - they look to have all sorts available ( Latvia i think ? )

I have used these guys and they have been 100% spot on for me

Unfortunately they only have LHD ones! Too short

There are plenty of places that will make cables to any spec.

If you have the old one as a pattern just get one made.
