Anyone got a part number for this guy? I broke a couple where the wiring goes under the rear seat and I've scoured the internet and come up short. I managed to find some of the white ones for along the rocker on fleabay.

I don't think I've seen one of those before.

Where exactly does it fit?

These are the electrical harness holders in the BMW catalogue: https://www.realoem.com/bmw/enUS/showpa ... Id=61_0533

Yeah, that's my problem. Can't find mention of this clip anywhere in any catalog.

On my car, they hold the wire under the back of the rear seat where it crosses the car. There was also one holding down some wires on the steering column support.

I don't think they are original.

Weird, it didnt look to me like the harness had ever been out. Do you know what usually holds the harness under the rear seat? Just the normal push in ties?

My car has those rubberised loops featured in your original post rather than the usual cable-ties holding the loom that goes across behind the rear seat

It might be they are clips that come pre-attached to the wiring loom.

It might also be it is a superseded part that has been replaced by the likes of the one you pictured above.

Right on. I'll find something suitable, like the one I pictured, to replace.

I'm just happy I was able to find the 16 white clips I needed or along the inner rocker. Bit expensive but I don't think there's a good substitute. And they ALL broke off, not one came out. Most wiring clips on the car actually stayed intact during disassembly.

Well done, everything is usually there somewhere! Mind you "Single components for fuse housing" is not the first place I would have looked on Realoem

Seems to be for the power roof wiring. That's why I've never seen one.

Thats the only thing its listed for on the E30, but its holding the wiring that crosses the car under the seat back on my car. Its a sedan.
