I've always been told to keep away from the powerflex and use superflex bushes. (which, incidentally, have never failed to impress me - used them on Minis and Peugeot GTi's, and will be getting some for the control arms on my 318 as soon as I can afford them).

I have powerflex subframe bushes and front control arm bushes

both very good, esp the control arm bushes

Ԛ£30 odd for the front pair, Ԛ£52? for the subframe bushes

you need a special tool for pulling the rear ones out, well I say need, think you can do it without but makes it a LOT easier!!!!

Available from Hoopers Motorsport in Bristol

If anyone is thinking of getting Powerflex items and can wait a bit, I am being sponsored by them again this year and I am in the process of setting up a deal with them.

If your on about the front TCA bushs theres an arrow on the bush and lolly pop(bush holder thing)that you have to line up.

:) Is there just one position that the offset bush goes in then, or can you change it depending on what angle you need?

its just meant to go in one pposition really which is the most extreme in this case.

Does anyone know how to remove the old bushes on the rear trailing arms. There are 4 bushes in total.

Also M3GTR. Can you let us know the deal you can get us.

Cheers

M3GTR, I have a deal with Powerflex for -40% (Orders over Ԛ£500), I think a bit more is possible for a larger order.

We did a 'group buy' last year and the service was excellent. 8)

We had to shorten the E30/Compact rear beam bush steel inserts by 10mm, otherwise quality product. 8)

well i think there might be over that sort of value of order from the look of it.. If M3GTR cant match it, would you be willing to organise another group buy?!

I'm pretty sure M3GTR will get a better discount for a larger order, we were offered -30% for any order, and -40% for orders over Ԛ£500, without any 'haggling'.

Class outfit imo, 8) I made a mistake with eccentric and non-eccentric on 2 sets, they sent the replacements immediately, no extra charge and I hadn't even returned the incorrect bushes. 8)

Personally, I wouldn't use them on a civilised road car, but they're not stupidly hard like some teflon bushes are.
