316i Bonet not closing

The Bonet on my e30 don't close it just pops back out the actual mechanism works as when I pull it the leaver it works I can see it moving when I pull it
the latch/mechanism at the front may need adjusting,
pretty simple, remove the passenger side grill & you will see two bolt/screws, loosed them & lift the mech up & try the bonnet again.
