The hose was perished behind the metal protection cover.
A full tank confirmed the leak.

But i didnt know i had to disconnect the plastic breathers also as they are all taped together, and managed to rip the hose where it comes out in the wheel well. Fcuk.

How screwd am i ? :)
Please share any thoughts gow to best get the pipes out

I have an old type tank.

Easy to do, once you get the 25 years worth of mud from around the pipes :D
The small vent pipes can be removed from the top of the tank and pulled through with the large hose if need be.

Cheers Dan :D
Im hoping the plastic pipes can handle the abuse :(

Ive soaked what i could with wd40 the best part of 2 hours, and tried to get in the channel with a obstruction removal device (screwdriver jamming in as far as i could go) to help release, but it is f**king stuck solid

Obi Brianmoore Kenobi (All hail) posted in a couple similar threds they can / will come out , so im positive. But if it goes titsup, what are my options ..

Worst case scenario is that the tank has to come out, but it shouldn't come to that.
Although they are theoretically taped together, the tape will have deteriorated by now, and you may be able to pull one of the small plastic pipes out first. These are smooth plastic, and will slide much more easily than the textured surface of the large hose. With the smaller hoses out, the braided hose should pull out much more easily.

Hi Brian!
Glad to see you're still looking out for us :)

But I had to go a bit Rambo on it.
The hose had adhered to the beginning of the tube by the tank, and the remainder of the tube was filled with rust and crud.
I managed to pull the 2 plastic pipes out the wheelwell, but the hose tore at both ends.
So i was forced to take drastics..
But its all sorted now ;)
Many thanks again for you taking the time to help me/us.
A beer or 10 on me if ever the occasion is there
