Leaky fuel tank

I own a 318i cab 1992

My fuel filler kneck was rusted out so changed that but disturbed the part where it connects to the tank.

Now that is leaking was wondering where the best place to get a fuel tank would be. Also how much should it cost me to changed from a garage.

Thanks

I bought one of these a couple of years ago and it's decent quality and fitted well. Quick delivery from Germany as well.

These are good tanks but you will need to paint and put sealant over the tank.

Brand new available for around £180 but depends if you have 55 or 64 litre tank.

Guessing around 3 to 4 hours labour.

What paint and sealer is recommended? I'm in the same boat with a leaky tank

I had the same problem a couple of years ago , a replacement steel tank was around £800 , I found on ebay a guy who supplies plastic tanks for around £145 including delivery , comes with seals as well , make sure you get the right size tank as there are 3 different sizes , I think the convertible is a 65 litre tank , hope this helps
