Hi
I am trying to figuire out if the front valance on facelift e30 should have one or air two vents in the centre.

I have seen one today with just a lower vent but when I google e30 front valance they all have two vents, one directly above the other. I will include a picture but photobox is taking a lifetime to upload.

I know the lower vent is for oil cooler on a 325i but anyone know what the upper vent is for?

Should a facelift sport have one or two vents?

Afaik the one with the upper vent cut out is fitted on cars with air conditioning.

The upper slot is found on cars with aircon as they use a 'taller' radiator that extends lower down. A facelift sport without aircon has two slots in the Mtech valance but the metalwork behind will only have the lower slot for the oil cooler.

One hole is oil cooler, two holes for oil cooler and air con.
