E30 Zone

Hi,

When starting the car most the time I need to use the accelerator to start it.

It's had new leads, plugs, oil, oil filter, battery. What else could be causing this? Or is there anything I can try to get to the bottom of it?

Did a bit research . Idle control valve not opening till you hit the gas. Or fuel starvation . Just do what I did find out were and what every thing does on the car . Take out sensors clean them

Have you cleaned the throttle body by taking the rubber boot off and spraying some carb cleaner through it?

You need help with this so someone can rev/idle the car while you spray it


Have a Mk3 golf which does similar things as this and it normally fixes it for months
