CAN ANY 1 HELP, IVE JUST BOUGHT A TOP SPEED SHORT SHIFTER FOR MY 325I SPORT E30, IT SAYS ON THE SIDE OF THE BOX E36. THE EBAY ADVERT STATES THAT IT WILL FIT NUMEROUS 3 SERIES MODELS. IS THIS TRUE?

Should fit mate, the gear selector mechanism is similar on most 3 series models.
Most people just fit a Z3 lever instead though.

As many of the past threads, and tech topics will confirm, watch out for the lowered position of the selector arm when fitting your new 'lever'.
As found with the Z3 'lever', you may have to bend the selector arm to clear the prop.
