There anyone an expert on convertible roofs?
I'm having issues with it each time it gets fixed goes back to not working. Motor has been changed but for some reason the horse shoe when lifting and closing is sounding rough and vibrating.

Any ideas ?

Thanks
Sam

Did you change the main motor on the right side, or the smaller motor in the middle? Your symptoms sound like the gears in the middle motor are stripped. That has happened to my cabrio twice.

Happened to mine also.

Fixed it by drilling the horseshoe motor flush to the mechanism. That way the fresh gears that have not been used were now tight to the mechanism.

No problem for 2 years since.
