Covertible 318i lux H-REG

I have an issue with my covertible soft top, apprently this is supposed to be electric, but doesnt work. Ive checked for power at the switches and theres no power. What can i do?

Anyone know where the exact fuse is?

Gert _8 is the expert on these. Chances are that top cover of the main motor is broken and the power has been disabled deliberately.
Stronger aftermarket top covers are available to solve the problem.

Do a search for Gert_8's posts and something like "roof". He's posted a lot on this subject, and the threads suggest sources for the repair plate.
Personally, I've never even knowingly seen an E30 cab. with anything other than a manual roof, much less worked on one.

Hi there mate, ive looked out for a "gert_8" the website tells me that theres no exisiting user, im going to have a fiddle with it myself later, see what/if i can acchieve anything

The cars currently parked in a friends garage as we havent got no parking outside our own property. The council decided to plaster double yellow lines right outside my f*****n door step.the whole neighbourhood is going to complain to the council at once

Ok thanks, ive had a look again, i cannot get the horse shoe part to open, the photos you guys have posted are in there right?
