Negative camber top mounts

Does anyone do negative camber top mounts for the e30 or is it something that would have to be imported from the US?

how much negative camber are you looking to get ? think ones are still available from the dealer giving you + or - half a degree either way.

i think you might mean the m3 mounts, right?
apart from those, you can get aftermarket ones that can alter by up to about 3 degrees, i think. they are mostly available in the US, but might be available if the company deals over here, or has an importer?

I believe he does mean those, but they were never actually fitted to an M3. It's a common mistakeMoofles wrote:i think you might mean the m3 mounts, right?
They are actually called 'Camber correction' mounts, and were available for any E30. Their main purpose was to correct camber problems after an accident repair or something similar. I don't believe any E30 left the factory with them fitted though.

There a place that does adjustable op mounts for the e30 in pontllanfraith near blackwood. Well they did but at Ԛ£180 a side i had a heart attack. Not sure if they still do them they were only a small garage but they specialised in a lot or track and rally prep for cars as well.

Also consider the Alpina top mounts, my sport has them and the bolt is set a little further back and further in than the stock mounts.
They say they improve turn-in response, but mine is the only one I've done any proper amount of driving in so I have nothing to compare them to.

Moseley Motorsport offer a pukka GrpA 'adjust on the car' (without jacking) pair of top mounts, but are Ԛ£298 +VAT per pair.
Hey how about a group buy?
With so many lowered E30's and camber/ tracking/ worn steering racks out there - this should be an essential buy?

there's a US website that specialises in bmw parts for fast road, track and race, bimmerworld.com. They do fixed off-set camber top mount plates, 1.25Ԛ° for $120 the pair.
I'm not sure if they post outside US, they didn't previously so I got them bought over for me recently by someone from the US.
I have a slight problem that they are close to giving me too much camber for the race regs but obviously this doesn't affect anyone else.
The plates are very simple steel rings with studs on each side that fit the pattern of the turret and the top mount. The stud pattern is 180Ԛ° opposite on each side and then offset.

i have a set on my car thay are made by k-tec thay are about Ԛ£150+vat

No these are for the front, you need offset/adjustable trailing arm bushes.Tng21 wrote:are these the parts that are needed to sort out the rear camber? About the top mounts: I have K-Mac adjustable top mounts (Australian) that adjust without jacking/lifting the car and the bushes are made from polyurethane. They were GBP 162 including tax (10% GST in Australia) or GBP 148 without tax. Not sure how much shipping would cost but they do send outside of Australia. Whatever sort you buy you might also want to ask the place you buy them from how much camber they give, some only give 1.5 degrees and others up to 3 degrees.

The people you want in the UK are TAS (http://www.tas.uk.com/) they do a fixed for standard springs and adjustable for coilovers. I think about Ԛ£60/pair...

Kmac also do adjustable bushes for the rear & also available from www.moseleymotorsport.com.
