From the wiki:

"You can <snip> make a custom steering linkage <snip> which involves the use of E34 steering UJs, one of which has to be stripped down and mated to an E30 UJ. "

Capitalisation and punctuation please! We don't expect perfect grammar on here, but at least make some effort.

He's not taking the mick. It's simply that some of the members on here are overseas (hint hint) and have trouble decoding some flavours of English, and a little punctuation goes a long way in helping them.

As for Dan's joint, without being funny, are you sure you're fitting it the right way round? And which rack are you trying to fit?

Definitely not 'taking the mick'. The 'English' in your post isn't particularly bad, but it's clear that you've made no effort at all to include capitals or punctuation. That suggests laziness, rather than a lack of knowledge.
Surely you can work out where one sentence finishes and another one starts?

I've made that look a bit better for you.

You need to split one of the ujs and and fit half of an e30 uj to it.

Then the e30 half goes on the steering column, the e34 half onto Dan's shaft (ooh er!) and the other end has the full e34 uj onto the rack.

This wiki page shows how to do it with a Corsa uj. The same process will work with the e34 uj.
