fuel gauge problems

hi got a problem with my fuel gauge it read full all the time . untill you hit a bump any ideas what it is ? its just started it last nite coming from manchester

Sounds like a lose conection...have you checked the wiring to the sender?

Lift up the "seat" part of the back seat, pull back the horse hair sound proof and you'll see 2 black access panels screwed down.
Un-screw the one on the drivers side - the biggest one and remove carefully not to damage the foam gasket.
You'll then see 4x 8mm (i think) nuts holding down an ovalish shape plate, remove the wiring loom from this first then un-screw the 4x nuts.
Pull the plate upwards to reveal a long oval tube - this is the sender unit.
Be careful if removing as it will be charged with fuel.

thanks lads ill have a look later if i get time i worked fine this morning to i went out on lunch then it was all over the place

its gona ave to be a new or sc hand sender gauge cheack every thing still not working
