Anyone know which would be the best LSD to go for on my 320i touring. I do a lot of motorway driving so don't want anything too low. I can't afford the industrial strength neurofen!!

I've got a 320i touring, and I've recently changed to a 3.64 from a 4.27, and it's excellent, 4000rpm is now about 100mph instead of 80mph, and the acceleration has hardly suffered really.

Has it got to be an LSD? I've got an open 3.64 here taking up space.

Why don't you talk to a company like Quaife? Not the cheapest route but far from a rip off, if you're serious. I think they have an applicatio nfor the E30 - can't recall. I know they do multipurpose diffs for FWD and RWD though, and they can be had for half a bag, fitted.

I had a quote for a Quaiffe today from my mate at Demon Tweeks, Ԛ£600 (about what the car's worth) plus VAT and a couple of week wait

Hi Mate,
Have you still got the 3.64 diff?
Would you be alright sending it via courier or do you need it picked up?
(Need it for a kit car with E3O running gear so it will be going to good use)

Obviously if 'axletramp' wants it I won't get involved seeing as it was your initial request, just if going spare
Thanks

Hi there, sorry took so long getting back. I've found a diff locally so if 'alolympic' still wants it, no problem. Thanks for the offer though.
