Kayaba - KYB rear shocks for e30 convertible

has any one used Kayaba - KYB shocks on their e30?? ... are they any good? .. im looking at the KYB Ultra SR or the KYB Gas-A-Just for the rear. cheers guys (p.s my convertible has been dropped 40mm)
