E30 M3 CONVERTIBLE HOOD

I have a E30 m3 with the hydraulic convertible hood that's not working at all. when you press the button the motor runs but that's all its got oil in and the hydraulic rams don't move I need to check that the piping at the pump is correct and also I need to check all the wiring so I need some help with this please

I have one wich works I can take measurements for you. Ferst try holding down the buton and moving the hood manually.biy doing this it will operate the micro switches. Hopefully showing wich switch is broken or not set properly. Also biy moving the hood manually it will blead the system good luck let us now how you get on

thank you for the info. I have operated the hood manually but still no good, I forgot to say that the car has been striped for reprint by some one ??... and has not refitted all but has put some of the parts in a box for me to refit. Questge will the hood work if the dash instrument cluster is not fitted ? And has the boot lock something to do with it. I need a wiring diagram for this system I'm unable to find one yet need help ".......

Hiy there is a connection on the clocks that tella the hood that the car is not moving above 5 mp. Thwr is no switch on the boot to stop it working but ther is a cabbal that will close the boot if the horseshoe opens

Nice one mate do you no the plug and pins on the dash . Or is it the same pins for all convertible ? If yes I can look that up at the weekend .

No I dont remember but it is a single caball that cums from the hood to plug in to the speedo I think there is a grean plug that plugs in to the speedo which is for the trip computer as well as the hood
