Removing injector rail wiring harness?

Hi all,
Simple question.. I'm trying to remove the injector harness on a '91 325i but where the large circle connector plugs into the wiring loom on the passenger side of the engine, I can't seperate the plug from the metal bracket. What's the correct way to remove it? I don't want to try one method with too much force in case it's wrong and I break it..
I'm removing it to give enough room to get the fuel rail and injectors out.
Cheers

If it's the same as a 320 you have to twist-off the bottom half of the plug, under the metal bracket, and then the top half just pops loose of the metal.

It's a plug/socket arrangement that sandwiches the bracket.
The two halves unscrew, but if water has crept past the rubber boots the terminals can corrode.
Difficult to get at and it does tend to stick with age,I would try a squirt of WD40 or similar.

Brilliant, thanks guys. So it's just a case of some upwards gentle persuasion and wd40..

Same construction as the diagnostic socket and its cap, or the C101 engine loom plug and socket, but on a smaller scale.

Managed to get it off in the end - I had missed a locking ring on the under side of the bracket after unscrewing the connector. Doh!
New puzzle is getting the injectors off of the rail.. No matter how hard I pull on the injectors, they don't pop off. Still in the process of searching for the answer on the forum unless someone knows? Are they just stubborn and I need to pull harder? They twist round OK so it seems like the o-rings are ok..

From the wiki:
" We will now need to separate the fuel injectors from the fuel rail. Use a small flathead screwdriver to remove the retaining clips holding the injectors on and store them in a safe place. Now pull the injectors out of the fuel rails. You may have to use a little force to get them out. Keep in mind that you will most likely have a little bit of gas spill out when you remove them. Once out, remove the old seals on the top and bottom of the injectors and throw them away. You never want to re-use injector seals. If you do, there is a chance they may crack. This could cause an air leak or worse, cause raw fuel to leak out. "
I had already removed the retaining clips so I guess I just need to pull harder! They're off to get refurbished

Never mind, sorted! Just needed to give it a bit more effort.
