Is there a quick and easy way to work out which HT lead is dodgy?

pull off each lead while running, the note or speed will change, the one that does not affect engine pitch/speed wher removed is the one with an issue

Observe the ignition leads in the dark, with the engine running, looking for discharge from the leads.
Measure and compare the DC resistance of the leads.
Examine them for physical damage, such as that caused by pulling the caps off the plugs by the leads.

Thanks. I have the leads off and I think two of the crimped ends are dodgy. I've got the multimeter out, What sort of resistance should I be looking for?

Can't find where I've written it down, but about 5k ohms seems to sound about right.
Whatever the absolute value, all the leads, except the coil king lead, should read about the same.

Thanks. I am getting about 5k ohmns on each, apart from one, which needs the end clip re-crimped
