Has anyone ever came up with a fix/solution to rear door cards (2 door) lifting away along the top edge ?

Assuming the construction is similar to front door cards,I found that steaming would allow the fibre board to be re-shaped.

Send your 'er indoors out shopping,then boil a large pan full of water,hold the cards in the steam and re-shape as the thing becomes pliable.
Replace all kitchen utensils exactly where you found them,after removing oily paw marks.

its rear cards not front, got 2 pairs to try fix, i did source a nice pair to replace my ones, now they seem to have gone the same way- the "bend" along the top just needs to be bent back in to shape/sharper bend

It's only the driver's door(o/s) that seems to suffer on cabbies..3 or 4 years on and my cabbie's door card is getting to the point off needing doing again.

Soak them in a hot bath...reshape them making sure they dry in that shape and then use a liquid hardener (same stuff for fibre glass).

Interesting, have you tried and tested that gav ?

I did it with some front ones. As soon as they get wet they become very flexible. The ones I had were quite warped and the top "curved" part was splitting. Once wet I laid them flat on the bathroom floor and put some heavy items on top to get rid if the warping. Then once dry I put the hardener around the "curved" top part to stop the splitting and keep the shape.

I am assuming the same would happen to rear cards if you use hot / boiling water and the hardener will "rienforce" the shape...?
