OK guys some stuff I need to know...and before U go and tell me that this project is no go,and I should go and buy M20 B25 engine I should tell U that I got this engine almost for free, and its in perfect condition with low milleage...
so I whold like to know :
throtlle body swaps(the original looks kind of small to me...): whitch throtlle body is swapable to this engine..? maybe even a M30 unit?
have done a complete exaust change, except the headers..(didn`t have the time to make them..) but that`s all for now...
my wish is a more responsive engine, that has a little bit of that 2,5 grunt to spin those rims for some daily drifting to keep me happy this winter...
any hope to get that from this sixpot?

Build a 2.7 out of it.

Try swapping the 320 air flow meter and throttle body for 325 items, they both have a larger bore than the 320 parts. Stick with the stock air filter and housing.
You can ask Ant (E30 tuning guru on this forum!) to do you a chip to suit the mod's you have done - Almost 150 bhp is attainable from this engine without mad modification or expense.
ps. You have gone for a slightly larger bore exhaust system than the standard 320 item haven't you?

Yea,the diameter is 55mm from the headers to the end

...
hmmm chip? how much whold it cost me to get it?
325i throtlle body seems logical, but the airflow meter from the Motronic driven B25 engine is not exchangeble with my LE-Jetronic engine,or am I wrong?

another choice is to use a complete M20 2.7 eta bottom end, it's bolt out and in conversion so i believe. Plus your throttle body mod and u will have a car that will see off a 325 mate

Have gave some thought about 2,7 Eta project.....but the problem is here in Slovenia, there just isn`t lot`s of these cars around,so it makes the whole project a lot more expencive....
NOS is out of the question....to much complications....
Don`t get me wrong: I don`t want 200bhp from this engine(have my driftcar for extreme tuning), just want some more response from that lazy 2,0 sixpot....
150Bhp whold be great, better fuel economy and decent performance

Getting 12-13% more BHP out of the B20 engine can be expensive.

the exhaust alone gave it so much torqe....next thing will be for sure to get me is gona be the throtlle body from B25,than maybe some weight reduction on inertia parts of the engine...pulley changing and electric fan coversion...
hopeully that`s gona be that
