After turning the car off getting out and locking the doors (remote CL) the window switches stay illuminated.
All the light clusters, central locking and windows/runners have been removed recently but are now all back as normal and working apart from door locks and associated looms which aren't attached. Do these actually have anything to do with window switch lights? (surely not??). Am I the cause of my own problems?
Car was a 320ise coupe.
Any ideas?
Thanks

The windows have two circuits; powered by IGN ON, or with doors open. It switches between these two circuits via a pin switch on the door pillar (normally just the A-pillars on 2-door cars, but there are 5 on a Touring).
If you've removed any of these pin switches then the car will think that door is open, and keep the windows powered up. You can temporarily solve it by removing the fuse for that circuit until you've put your car back together properly.
