As the fuel pump bracket is nla has anyone tried ordering the Left side member 41 11 1 925 549 to see if it comes with the bracket on it.

Also has anyone with a mtech 2 kit ordered Foil 51 71 2 239 899, the m3 comes with a thin rubber tape that goes between the sideskirt and the body but you can't buy it so was wondering if this is the same.

IIRC the bracket is bolted to the body via rubber bobbins, so wont come with the bodywork section, shouldnt be difficult to make something yourself
The foil is just a plastic tape that stops the edges rubbing through the paint

the bracket has been NLA for quite some time now,

I doubt it will come with the sill closing panel as it's seperate and has to be welded on, but... stranger things have happened

how much is the panel is it worth the gamble ?
no doubt it will be on VOR from Germany so there won't be a refund ..

It's the bracket attached to the body that I was looking to replace. The tape sounds the same as what is used on the M3 sideskirts so that's good to know thanks.

Most panels come with brackets attached so I thought it would be worth a try, the panel is about £15 so not that expensive, I was going to order it and see but thought I check on here first and see if anybody else had tried it.

I fabricated a new one from some 1.5 mm sheet steel as it was NLA for me about 2 years ago.its not too hard to fabricate one from the original.
