Hi

Can anyone shed some light on how to test heater resistor?

Is it just continuity?

Thanks

Thanks

I went over everything again check heater fan all ok there.
Checked fuse and it had blown possibly because of previous seized fan.

Replaced fuse all working

Thanks again

Imran :)

Heater resistor is a set of very low value resistors connected in series. They are wire wound resistors, so very unlikely to change value - they will either be correct or open circuit, so, as far as the average multimeter is concerned, just measure for continuity.
Note that there is a self resetting thermal cut out built into the resistor pack, and it's this part that gives the most trouble.
