Stuck handbrake!!

Just released the handbrake and the left hand wheel has locked up.the car has been parked up for a couple of weeks now and I've tried reversing it and driving it forward but it won't budge?thers slack on both cables when handbrake is released shall I hit the drum with a hammer or something?

Sounds like the brake lining has come adrift ,wheel and drum off I'm afraid.

Get out the trusty hammer and give the caliper/drum a good smack
