Does anyone know if the inlet manifolds on the 325 engines are all the same or if there are some that are different?

Why would you want to do that?popupstands wrote:would there be any benefit from changing 325i manifold to 325e and will it fit ok without problems

Most definately not, the 325e inlet is much more restrictive than the 325i one. It would work the other way round though if you happened to own a 325e and wanted to fit an "i" manifoldpopupstands wrote:someone was advertising on ebay that their was power gains fitting a 325e Manifold, I don't know if true or not
Not unless you ported the head to matchE30Adam wrote: It would work the other way round though if you happened to own a 325e and wanted to fit an "i" manifold
Yes you would need to do that to do a proper job.Andy335Touring wrote:Not unless you ported the head to matchE30Adam wrote: It would work the other way round though if you happened to own a 325e and wanted to fit an "i" manifold
