NO power at all any ideas please

just been out to my car and its completly dead no power what so ever. its a new battery fitted which is charged. but the car is completly dead, checked every thing i could think of,
Can anyone please give me a idea of where to look.

Battery earthing point?
Engine earth?

325i with battery in the boot?
Check fusable link in thinner cable near the positive terminal.
Should still show some life though, check battery ground point as stated.
Ignition switch?
What happens if you short the solenoid out?
You need to get your multimeter into action
