aftermarket remote central locking

hi peeps was after some guidance on how to fit a remote central locking unit to my 92 touring have searched youtube e30 wiki an gooogle with no luck im not sure if you wire it to the actuators? or the remote central locking relay behind the speaker in drivers footwell any help would be much appreciated

Best place in the passenger footwell. All the wires that you need to connect to are there and the control unit can be placed above the glovebox.

There have been several posts in the Technical section about this. I know as when I fitted mine I copied the wiring description from one of them and it worked a treat. Just use the search function.

have searched through to january last year and cant find any real help did u wire it from the power cables in the glove box that go to the stereo? and where did you wire the cables coming out of the new remote central locking unit to the solenoid in the door or the relay?? if you could send me a link to the wiring diagram you saw that would be a big help? cheers pal
