hello from all the way from holland
since today i became the proud owner of a bmw 318i 4door
when i bought the car all seemed well.
but on the highway whit a lot of rain my windscreen whippers had diverend plans.
the little motor that drives the whippers seems to be shut loos , its stil working en rotates but its now loos under my hood/parafane
,my question was how to get to it to reatache the little motor
does this need to happen under my dashbord or do ik have to be in the hood under the windshield
i hope to hear some idea's or some comments from people who had the same experience.
greets

Hi - welcome to the 'Zone!.
Your english is MUCH MUCH better than my dutch, but
loos = loose
whippers = wipers
you must remove the black plastic grill/mesh to get at the motor I think?
Can anyone confirm?

You can see the wiper motor if you remove the left hand plastic grille behind the bonnet, but to get at it properly there is a large detachable panel at the back of the engine bay, held in place by four hex headed self tapping screws. Pull off the rubber sealing strip that the bonnet closes against and you will be able to see its edges.
