converting my 318i to have fog lights,

fitted the f&r fog light switch

fitted the relay

fitted the fuses.

just waiting for the foglights themselves to arrive in the post then il be plugging them in.

problem is since ive fitted my dual fog light switch..when i pull the light switch to the back which i believe is full headlights.. the rear foglight symbol is constantly light up on the dash along with my rear fogs coming on.. even though neither front & rear fog button is clicked in.

but when i put it to dippped lights, just pull the light switch back once. the rear fogs lights doesnt stick on constantly but works when you press the fog button in.

any ideas?

Doesn't suggest anything obvious at first thought!
Is this a UK spec. car? Different markets used different foglight wiring to meet local regs.
Do you have two identical black double pole relays fitted in the K4 and K8 positions?

yeah they are the same matey, heads a bit baffled..
