Is this my TPS plug?

I'm in the process of converting from motronic 1.0 to 1.3, and I've been busy identifying all the various plugs in the engine loom, by buzzing them out with my multimeter at the ECU connector and referring back to the wiki pages for the ECU pin out. Everything is hunky dory, except this:

Appears to be the TPS connector.

Now, considering that all the TPS modules I've seen, and the one I've got, have oblong connectors with three pins - and this is round and has 6 pins - I guess I'm missing something, right?

Ta,

Jason

If that's for a TPS it's for an automatic, IIRC.

Or find a TPS from a switchable auto. The extra three pins are for a throttle position potentiometer, similar to that used on the iS and later BMW engines, instead of a throttle position switch. In this application though, it's just used to give throttle info. to the gearbox ECU.

Thanks all. As I have a spare three way connector from my old loom, and it's free, I'll do a switch and terminate and wrap up the other three lines in the new loom.
