Could I ask a favour please
Could somebody please measure the distanced between A, B and C in the following diagram on their E30 (Saloon/touring) I would like to find out if I can use an E30 rear strut brace on the Sportster (in theory they should be the same!)
Thank you

Help, any one with a tape measure?

I just went outside to check for you. I opened the bonnet, got the tape measure lined up over the first bolts and then realised I was at the wrong end

. I went to back, opened the boot, went to put the tape measure on and realised there was carpet there

. It is night here (so it's dark outside, I realised that when I walked into a spider web I couldn't see

) so I couldn't see if there was any hole in it and I didn't feel like pulling it out so I will see if I can check tomorrow morning for you. I do have to leave early though so maybe not until the afternoon.
Sorry, but surely someone else knows?

Ok, B & C seem to be the same at about 103.5cm (40.75"). I checked it twice and they both seem to be between 103 and 104cm. A is about 99cm (39"). It was hard to measure exactly because when I put my hand there to hold the tape I couldn't see exactly where I was putting it, probably between 99 and 100cm. 2.54cm in 1 inch.
That is for my 323i which should be the same as most other E30's I think, except maybe the M3?
