rev counter help

my rev counter some times has a mind of its own goes up an down wen its at a steady idle ie doing 35 speed then suddenly needle goes up high then back to 1 then back to normal can any help cheers imy

Is your fuel economy gauge working? It could be your SI board batteries if you have not replaced them

Not been changed same with the fuel gauge that plays up as well
