My cerntral locking has stopped working! more importantly I cant get my fuel flap open and my tank is empty! I presume this must all be related as when i unlock the car the fuel flap can be opened. So how do i get my fuel flap open??

If you can unlock the boot, theres a small cutout in the carpet type trim on the right hand wheel arch/quarter panel liner. Push in the flap on the cutout and use a long screwdriver or fingers to pull back the tab which will relase the fuel flap. Its on page 4 and 8 of your owners manual anyway

As for fixing the problem with the Central locking do a search or check the wiki, but in my experience the drivers door plug and the CL module underneath it are a common source of issues.

Have a rumage through the zone wiki, there's a section that covers central locking problems, starting with the well known red/black wire mod!

My car has central locking but the filler cap isn't included ie; isn't lockable. Is that unusual for an E30 ?

its not the round filler cap, its the flap, a little pin should go in to it to lock it, it might be boken ?
