Hi All,

I want to fit the solid concentric lollipop bushes from the E36 M3 but i am not sure which M3 E36 has the concentric and which has the eccentric, my local BMW garage tells me that the EVO version has one type and the NON EVO has the other but they can't tell me which way round it is, they can only work on chassis numbers
Any help given would be much appreciated

Cheers all - Rob

Non evo is eccentric

Evo is concentric.

If you are going for eccentric, late E30 M3 ones for use with 16" wheels are the same.

Eccentric bushes are better. Solid bushes eliminate control arm movement under braking, eccentric bushes do that and increase castor to really improve steering feel.

The E36 M3 evo had the increased castor built into the wishbone and hub.

E36 Evo had a different wishbone that's commonly used on five stud conversions on E30's to help centre the wheel in the arch (as well as to get the geometry as close to stock as possible). The E36 Evo also had offset top mounts to increase the castor. The hub was unchanged if im not mistaken.

No, the Evo 3.2 front hubs/uprights are different. I'm 99% sure the lug where the balljoint fits in is in a different place.

I could well be wrong on that.
