Checking my pads i noticed the sensors are just loose on the pad. Is there a clip that should be there to secure it to the pad. If there is mine is missing and would this come with new sensors or do i need to order them separate.
Also can you still buy new bumper mouldings

I've fitted new pad sensors and the warning light is still on. Are there any other common problems that would cause this.

That could be it. Can this be repared or do you need to replace the cluster. Can you tell visually if the joints are faulty

If they haven't been resoldered already, then they are faulty! They will have a dullish granular appearance, or a visible circular crack.

if you know how to check your pad levels (im assuming you aint stupid), join the 2 wires together and it will turn the light off

this will not work if the resistor in the cluster has a duff solder joint.
very true mate,,,, i will take it mine is fine then lol, as i had to link the 2 wires on my pas side since the pads had lots of life left yet the light came on.

So do I need to just put some solder onto the 2 connections on the cluster

i have some different pads, the sensors are disconnected, but the light sometimes come on and others it doesnt, but recently it has stayed on for the last week or so, why would the light sometimes come on?
