Chrome around windows!

Got a 325i and it has the very fetching and elegant chrome around the windows .. very nice, but not my cup of tea!
Anyway to remove it and fit black or remove and paint them black?
Or am I stuck with the chrome?

I'd wrap them in black shadow line vinyl, you can buy it online pretty cheap. Its also easy to remove when you realise that they actually look better in chrome.

Where you based. I have a full 2 door dechrome kit here with opening rear quartes from a tech 2 sport?
