The pins that go in the lock barrel

Hi there,

My car has a drivers lock that has obviously been replaced at some point - it uses a different key. While changing the glovebox lock barrel, (the catch was broken) I realised that the pins in the lock barrel are all numbered (1-4 I think). So by getting the right pins for my drivers door and swapping them over I could get the same key to fit that as well.

Does anyone know if you can buy the little pin things or will I have to buy the whole barrel to do this switch over?

Many thanks,

Mark S.

You can buy a repair kit that consists of the barrel, fixings and tumblers. Available from the dealers.

Number 27 on the diagram.
