E30 Zone

I had a little shunt in the car the other day, which resulted in smashing the alloy, and bending a few things

iv got everything stripped down as i have to replace the control arm/s track rod end,

but im a bit concerned about the strut,
is there anyway of telling that it could be bent a bit?
are there any measurements i could do, to check it?

I might just replace it just for peace of mind,
but if there is any way of checking it first....

it's a 51mm strut if that helps..?

check the measurement between the strut and the tyre and compare to the undamaged side if there is a notable difference replace
