just as a matter of curiosity, wondered what this is. it was fitted to a Tech1 convertible, at the top front corner of the nearside inner wing:

that looks like the headlight dimmer resistor thingy....

i believe that it might possibly be some sort of heater resistor....

its for the lights adi. it give 10% through the dip beam with ignition on. disconnect if fitting hid's

Ah, thanks Clive, i knew my old convertible lights used to do that.
i like that option/effect
