E30 Zone

I have a lsd fiited on my 318i from a tech 1,325i, what is the correct oil to put in and how much

Bmw MSPA 75w-140. IIRC they take 1.4 litres? Or you can fill it until it pours out slightly

If you can't get to a dealers then you can order Castrol B373 online.

Castrol SAF-XJ is also suitable.

Millers LSD oil is also good and fill till it overflows out of bung

morris oils also do a suitable oil. i use it in my rally car.

Is that defentaly suitable for LSD's?

i think it is, i know of at least one person who runs B373 in their rally car, its a high grade mineral as opposed to a synthetic oil.

decent trolley Jack, axle stands, a good 19mm spanner and 9 or 8mm allan key socket

first time doing one is a pain in the arse I can do them in under an hour all going well.

dont tighten the bolts up untill you have all 4 in there threads.

if you want a hand doing it give me a bell what oil are you planning on using?

Castrol B373 is the only oil ill use for an e30 lsd you can get it from eBay or opie oils
