Hi guys just some advice please.
I have a standard 325 89 coupe and i want to overhaul all the suspension.

I want to order everything from bmw, what do i need.
Also can i upgrade to full 325 sport suspension can this still be had new from bmw.
Also heard something about m3 bushes is this a worthwhile upgrade.
Are front strut braces any good.
Any advice would be great and a run down on everything i need would help matters so that i can just place the order.

Many Thanks

However the only bits you need to pay dealer prices for are the M3 Lollipop Eccentric bushes ( under £40 a pair ), E46 M3 Cab rear top mounts, ARB bushes and trailing arm bushes.

ECP sell Lemforder Front top mounts, Drop Links, Beam Bushes and front wishbones at considerably less than the dealer will charge for the same stuff. Contact meatballs82 for discounted prices.

The M3 lollipop bushes are definately worth fitting.

Personally I don't like strut braces but each to their own.

If you're replacing Dampers use Bilstein B4's for an upgrade on standard, B8's if you want it much stiffer or B6's if you are lowering it significantly.

For springs use Eibach or H&R

Uprated ARB's can also be had from Eibach or H&R

Also worth inspecting engine & Gearbox mounts, propshaft coupling and centre bearing and replacing as necessary - aftermarket engine/gearbox mounts are available but its generally viewed that OEM is best even though they are very expensive for what they are - IIRC Gearbox mounts are about £18 each

Hope that helps :D
