Hi,
I've read somewher that there is a mod to replace the aged butterfly air flow module on the early 325i lump with a later/better/more reliable AFM from a later BMW.
Does anybody do a 'kit' for this mod?
Is there anything else that needs changing?
Cheers,
Martin.

off the shelf kit is the Miller MAF conversion that comes with a chip. Fitting a MAF DIY is relatively easy, but the engine will likely need tuning afterwards

The Miller package comes with a base map which offers a reasonable driving experience but, as said above, one needs to get the car tuned so that a refined map will give an optimal result.

Thanks guys, I did read though that a replacement of 'another' BMW is possible - the Millar kit looks very expensive....
Ta,
Martin.
